Dear SSE Members and Supporters,
Over the past several years, the Somali Society of Engineers (SSE) has continued to grow as a professional community dedicated to connecting, supporting, and advancing Somali engineers and aspiring engineers.
Through the commitment of our volunteers and members, SSE has organized professional seminars, networking events, mentorship opportunities, career development programs, technical discussions, and partnerships that bring together engineers, students, and professionals across disciplines and generations. We have also worked to create opportunities for young Somali students to learn about engineering and to strengthen the professional network available to Somali engineers.
Much of this work has been made possible through the time and effort of volunteers. As SSE continues to grow, however, so do the resources required to sustain and expand our programs.
We are asking members of our community who are able to consider making a financial contribution to support the Somali Society of Engineers.
Your contributions will help SSE:
Organize technical seminars, workshops, and professional development programs.
Expand mentorship and career-development opportunities for students and early-career engineers.
Support networking events and professional gatherings.
Develop educational and STEM initiatives for Somali youth.
Strengthen partnerships with engineering organizations, universities, employers, and community institutions.
Support the administrative and operational costs necessary to maintain and grow the organization.
Develop new programs that advance engineering education and professional practice within Somali communities.

SSE has always been built on the idea that our collective knowledge, experience, and resources can accomplish far more than any of us can individually.
